CJ2K League Report: Playoffs, All-Star Weekend approaching!

Each week this summer the Times will provide updates on stats and standings, along with the top performers in the CJ2K League ― a highly popular outdoor summer basketball league that takes place in Beaver County. Here are the highlights from last week:

Boys' Player of the Week: Easton Fulmer, Bethel Park Hoop Dreamz

Fulmer isn't a WPIAL hooper but some might recognize his name from his battles against area teams in the state playoffs over the years. The Franklin High School graduate leads the CJ2K League in scoring, averaging 30.1 points a game. Fulmer will play college basketball at Edinboro.

Girls' Player of the Week: Meghan Murray, Hopewell Lady Showtime

Murray's play has been consistently solid all season long. The Hampton junior is averaging 19.5 points a game, helping lead her team to a tie at the top of the South Division standings.
