For those looking to purchase a commemorative Athens Banner-Herald newspaper from the Georgia Bulldogs' historic season, here are the available options and information:

When will it be on newsstands?

The Wednesday, Jan. 12 edition will features special front page design and much of the game coverage from Indianapolis. We are selling them at the Athens Banner-Herald office (1 Press Place). Hours are listed HERE. Only cash or check will be accepted at the office. Price is $2.

We also have glossy posters of the cover available for $15.

Additionally, a 10-page commemorative section, with stories and photos from the game and days following, will be available in our Saturday, Jan. 15 edition. This will also be delivered to print subscribers, available on newsstands in the Athens area and available for purchase from our office.

What if I just want the PDF of the front page?

Subscribers will be able to access the PDF of the front page via our E-edition. A digital subscription can be purchased here.

Can I order a re-print of the front page or commemorative plaque?

Yes, to order a front page reprint or plaque, please go to and fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page.

Posters will be available for sale at the Banner-Herald office starting Friday.

What if I live out of town?

While we will be able to accommodate a limited number of requests for copies to be mailed, we encourage you to use the above link to purchase a re-print of the front page. This will speed up requests and guarantee that you get a copy.

Are there other commemorative options for sale?

The Athens Banner-Herald is publishing a commemorative book through Pediment Publishing.
