Clarendon Township man in critical condition following rollover crash on Homer Road

HOMER — A 31-year-old Clarendon Township man is in critical condition following a rollover crash Monday night on Homer Road.

Calhoun County deputies responded at 6 p.m. Monday to the single-vehicle crash in the 19000 block of Homer Road in Eckford Township. Police said the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and overturned.

A landing zone was established near the crash scene for West Michigan Air Care. The 31-year-old driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was airlifted to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo in critical condition.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Marshall Police Department, Fredonia Township Fire and Eaton’s Proving Grounds staff. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
