GOSHEN — Dave Bennett presents “Swing to Rock” at 7:30 p.m. April 29 at The Goshen Theater, 216 S. Main St.

A jazz clarinetist, Bennett lists Benny Goodman, Roy Orbison, Alice Cooper, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Chris Isaak among his influences.

He fuses serious jazz improvisation with a host of modern pop influences and also is known for breaking from his Swing Era repertoire to sing rockabilly hits while accompanying himself at the piano or on electric guitar.

Bennett’s albums include 2013’s “Don’t Be That Way” and 2018’s “Blood Moon.” He’s currently recording a new album of rock originals, composed during 2020, that will be released this year.

Tickets are $150-$35.
