Clark Memorial Bridge reopens in both directions after brief closure Wednesday morning

A key untolled crossing between Louisville and Southern Indiana that was closed for a time in both directions Wednesday morning has reopened.

The Clark Memorial Bridge, which connects downtown Louisville to Jeffersonville via Second Street, was closed Wednesday as of 9:30 a.m., according to a MetroSafe supervisor, but reopened at around 10:30 a.m. The closure started a little after 9 a.m.
