Clark named Senior of the Month

Cassidy Clark, daughter of Gale and Michele Clark of Elkhart, has been named March-Senior-of-the-month at Mount Pulaski High School. She was selected for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

During her time at MPHS, Clark has stayed very actively involved in sports and extracurricular activities. She has been a member of FFA for 4 years, serving as Ag Ambassador, Sentinel, and President. She has served as class Vice President for 4 years, and been a member of the Track and Volleyball teams for 4 years. For 2 years she has participated in NHS and Drama Club. She has also participated in Yearbook.

Clark has been awarded Biology, Geography, English, And Spanish student of the year and has been awarded High Honors all 4 years of high school.

Outside of school Clark has worked landscape jobs, worked as a lifeguard, coached club volleyball, and started her own hot chocolate bomb business. She has also helped organize Volley for the Cure and planned and was in charge of Jr. High Track Camp. She has also helped with the community garden, Zonta Luncheon, FFA food drive, student council food drive, Vonderleith holiday cards, Christmas on Vinegar Hill and the FFA petting zoo.

She plans to attend East Carolina University on a Track and Field scholarship and be a part of the Honors College. She plans to major in Communications with a minor in Spanish.

The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Conaway Handyman Service and Downing, Przykopanski, Clements, & May Insurance Agency, Inc.. They are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by INB.
