Clarks Grove man injured in Highway 58 crash

Jan. 4—HAY CREEK TOWNSHIP, Minn. — A man was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Minnesota Highway 58 near Red Wing on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024.

The 2004 Ford Crown Victoria was traveling south on Highway 58 when it collided with the embankment on the east side ditch by Old Church Road at 6:38 a.m., according to a Minnesota State Patrol crash report.

The driver of the Ford, Cody Allen Williamson, 27, of Clarks Grove, Minnesota, had non-life threatening injuries. He was transported to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Red Wing.

Williamson was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.

The Goodhue Fire and Rescue Department, Red Wing Fire Department and Goodhue County Sheriff's Office also responded to the crash.
