Clarksville to consider repeal of strict rules for fortune tellers

A footnote to the Clarksville city code requires a practicing fortune teller to have been a Tennessee resident for ten years and a Clarksville resident for two years. It also requires a fortune teller to have a college degree and have a clean bill of health from a Montgomery County doctor. Now, a city council member is drafting up a repeal, which will be reviewed this week.
