Clarksville voters who want to hear the views and platforms of candidates running for city mayor, and contested city council races, can now view a newly videotaped collection of political forums.

Each election year, the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce Public & Community Affairs Committee hosts the political forums in partnership with Leadership Clarksville.

The forums provide an opportunity for the qualified candidates up for election to answer relevant questions on camera from a group of panelists led by Van Stokes, moderator. Panelists are Jimmy Settle, Chris Smith and Jay Albertia.

Taping was conducted by Rick Goodwin Productions at the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center.

The next session of early voting for the State General and Clarksville City Elections runs from Oct. 19 - Nov. 3.

Tuesday, Nov. 8 is Election Day.
