Clashes Erupt at Jerusalem Hospital as Slain Journalist's Coffin Carried Out

There were chaotic scenes outside a Jerusalem hospital on May 13 as mourners carried the coffin of slain Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.

Quds News Network, citing the Palestine Red Crescent Society, said “dozens” of people were injured as police clashed with the crowd.

Israeli police had surrounded the hospital ahead of the clashes, Al Jazeera reported.
