On Friday, President Trump's former advisor Kellyanne Conway confirmed on Twitter that she has tested positive for COVID-19.

"Tonight I tested positive for COVID-19. My symptoms are mild (light cough) and I'm feeling fine," she wrote. "I have begun a quarantine process in consultation with physicians. As always, my heart is with everyone affected by this global pandemic."

Before Kellyanne confirmed the news on her Twitter account, her daughter, 15-year-old Claudia posted on her TikTok account, where she currently has close to 948,000 followers, that her mom has the virus.

"Update my mom has covid," she wrote on one post, featuring a video of her wearing a mask. "im furious," she wrote on a follow-up video. "Wear your masks. dont listen to our idiot fucking president piece of shit. protect yourself and those around you."

Earlier on Friday, she posted that she was suspicious that her mother might have covid. "My mom coughing all around the house after trump tested positive for covid," she wrote, over a video that played audio of Cardi B saying "that's suspicious."

And, following her mother's announcement:

There has been no confirmation that the teen or her other family members have COVID-19, and per Vulture, Claudia announced via a livestream that she had not yet been tested but would be today. She reportedly said she is "pretty sure" she will get a positive result.

In late August, both Kellyanne and Claudia's father, George Conway, posted that they would be taking steps to focus more on their family.

"I will be transitioning from the White House at the end of this month," Kellyanne wrote in her statement. "George is also making changes. We disagree about plenty but we are united on what matters most: the kids. Our four children are teens and 'tweens starting a new academic year, in middle school and high school, remotely from home for at least a few months. As millions of parents nationwide know, kids 'doing school from home' requires a level of attention and vigilance that is as unusual as these times. This is completely my choice and my voice. In time, I will announce future plans. For now, and for my beloved children, it will be less drama, more mama."

When her parents made their announcements, Claudia posted the following on TikTok:

At the time, she also wrote: "words are not enough to express my love for my following. you are all amazing. thank you for the support and love. may you feel my love and peace back. i am taking a break to process this recent news and to stabilize my mental health. i love you. i love you. i love you."
