Clay Travis, media personality and Tennessee Vols fan, is among the latest notable donors supporting Zakai Zeigler's family via GoFundMe.

Travis confirmed that he donated $1,000 after his name appeared among the donors on the GoFundMe page. He also promoted the GoFundMe on Twitter, where he has almost 875,000 followers.

Zeigler is freshman guard from Long Island, New York, on the Tennessee basketball team. His family lost their home in a fire Saturday night.

The GoFundMe, which was organized through Tennessee and its compliance office, set a goal of $50,000 to support the Zeiglers and is intended exclusively for relief and recovery.

The response has been overwhelming.

Travis was among the largest donors. He is the founder of Outkick, a Fox Sports TV and radio host, podcaster and author of Tennessee and SEC books "Dixieland Delight" and "On Rocky Top," among others.

Tennessee athletics director Danny White and his wife, Shawn, donated $500. The GoFundMe page is still active.
