'Claypool mugged': No call on Dolphins' Keion Crossen in win vs. Bears draws Twitter's ire
Justin Fields gave the Miami Dolphins fits all day. The Chicago Bears quarterback ran for 178 yards and had four touchdowns on the ground and through the air.
But a lot of the talk on social media after the Dolphins' 35-32 win Sunday wasn't about the Miami defense stopping Chicago on its final drive of the game. It was about how the referees seemingly ripped the game away from Fields and new Bear Chase Claypool on a pass interference no-call.
With less than 2 minutes to go, Fields threw up a deep ball to Claypool on a key third down from Chicago's 42-yard line. Keion Crossen had his arm around Claypool's waist as the receiver went up for the ball, failing to haul in the catch. No flag was thrown, much to Claypool's chagrin, and when Fields couldn't connect with Equanimeous St. Brown on fourth down, the Dolphins ran out the clock for their third straight win.

Bears fans, NFL experts react to no-call on pass interference
Fans and NFL experts were livid on social media after the game. Here's a sampling of some of the top reactions ... well, the clean ones, at least.
Hold on. That trash call vs. Waddle is made, but Claypool being bearhugged by a defender is a no-call? Garbage, @NFLOfficiating. Straight garbage.

I think we just ask as football fans for consistent officiating. The Dolphins DB was grabbing and holding Claypool the entire time. If you’re going to call some ticky tack PIs earlier you have to call the easy ones.

If you call PI on Eddie Jackson, you have to call that PI on the Claypool play. #Bears

How in the world is that not PI on Claypool? Is that a joke?

How is that not pass interference? The DB swung CLaypool around before the ball got there!

jaylen waddle got that same PI call earlier in the game from eddie jackson looking to play the ball the whole way through then claypool gets dragged down by his hip and it’s not called

Alas, "Da Bears" are now 3-6 while the Dolphins are 6-3.
