Clayton County 16-year-old who disappeared from Home Depot spotted at Auto Zone in NC
Clayton County police say a missing 16-year-old with autism they have been searching for has been spotted in North Carolina.
Police said Alejandro Carranza vanished around 10:30 a.m. at the Home Depot in on Mt. Zion Road Morrow on Monday. His father told police that Carranza left the Home Depot without his permission.

Angel Carranza said his son has disruptive mood disorder, autism and kleptomania. His son was riding in a gold 2006 Toyota Highlander with license plate number BRZ4875.
On Wednesday, Clayton County police said they received report of Alejandro’s car spotted at a Auto Zone store in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, about 230 miles from where he left.
Police believe he had a dead battery and jumped it off at the rest area on Interstate 85 welcome center in North Carolina.

Alejandro was last seen wearing a green and black jacket and green pants. He’s described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
