Cleanup continues, costs rise in northeast Baltimore after storm

Cleanup work continues in northeast Baltimore after last week's severe storms, and city officials are offering help. As homeowners and professional crews continued Wednesday to clear trees and utility lines, Baltimore City and state officials are working to connect residents with resources. City officials are hosting a storm recovery assistance event until 6:30 p.m. Wednesday inside the former auditorium at 2500 E. Northern Pkwy. The event is intended to connect people with state and local resources, including help with flooding issues, food distribution and filing insurance claims.
