Cleanup Work Underway After Landslide Covers Highway in California

Cleanup work was underway on State Route 96 outside Happy Camp, California, on February 22 after a landslide covered the highway in more than 30,000 cubic yards of debris, California’s Department of Transportation said.

This footage shows diggers and trucks moving some of the debris; approximately 5,000 cubic yards had been removed as of February 22. The landslide occurred on the morning of February 18.
