Clear Fork's Lilly Wortman earns honorable mention All-Ohio in Division III girls basketball

COLUMBUS — She didn't do anything flashy.

She didn't score 20 points a game or knock down 3-pointer after 3-pointer. Instead, Clear Fork senior Lilly Wortman kept her head down, played great defense, made the extra pass and did things that would help the team more than her stat line.

And the members of the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association took notice. Wortman was named honorable mention All-Ohio in Division III after helping Clear Fork go 15-7 during the regular season by averaging 8.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists. She was a third team All-Northwest District and first team All-District 6 honoree during the 2022-23 season where the Colts finished the year 17-8 with a sectional championship.

She was the lone Richland County girls basketball player to earn All-Ohio honors. Let's take a look at who was named the best of the best from all over the state.
