Clemson baseball vs. North Carolina in 2022 ACC Tournament: Live score updates
Clemson baseball, as a No. 12 seed, will face No. 8 seed North Carolina in its 2022 ACC Tournament opener at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Truist Field in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Both teams enter tournament play after concluded their regular seasons by sweeping opponents; Clemson (35-21) swept Boston College while the Tar Heels (34-19) took three games from Florida State.
Joining Clemson and North Carolina in Pool A is No. 1 seed Virginia Tech (40-11), which is ranked No. 2 in the latest USA TODAY coaches poll. Clemson will play the Hokies Thursday, also in a 7 p.m. game.

Redshirt sophomore righthander Mack Anglin (6-5) will start on the mound for Clemson while North Carolina will counter with sophomore righthander Max Carlson (1-2).
Clemson’s lineup features ACC Player of the Year Max Wagner, who leads the team in batting average (.379), home runs (26), hits (74), RBI (74), runs (65), slugging percentage (.867) and on-base percentage (.506).
The winners of each of the four pools will advance to Saturday’s semifinals.
