The Clemson basketball team, having lost four of its past five games and struggling to keep its NCAA Tournament hopes alive, will host Syracuse on Wednesday night.
It will be the only meeting of the regular season between the teams, both of which are seeking to finish the regular season with a flourish and head into the ACC Tournament with momentum.
Clemson (19-8, 11-5 ACC) is in fourth place in the ACC standings while Syracuse (16-11, 9-7) is tied for seventh entering the game (7 p.m., ACCN).
The Tigers, who were tabbed for an 11th-place finish in the ACC preseason poll, have stumbled after a program-best 10-1 start in league play and are coming off a loss at last-place Louisville that could prove their NCAA undoing.
Returning home to Littlejohn Coliseum, where the Tigers are 13-1 this season, may be just what Clemson needs to get back on track.
