Clemson football assistant coaches Mike Reed and Nick Eason on Friday each received a $50,000 salary increase, and each of the Tigers’ on-field assistants had their contracts extended by one year.

The changes were approved by the Clemson Board of Trustees.

Reed, who coaches cornerbacks and is the Tigers’ special teams coordinator, and Eason, who coaches the defensive line and the defensive run game coordinator, both will make $800,000 annually.

Five assistants – Thomas Austin, Tyler Grisham, Lemanski Hall, Kyle Richardson and C.J. Spiller – each had their contracts extended through January 2025. Austin coaches the offensive line, Grisham wide receivers, Hall defensive ends, Richardson tight ends and passing game coordinator, and Spiller running backs.

Four assistants had their contracts extended through January 2026 -- Reed, Eason, defensive coordinator Wes Goodwin and co-defensive coordinator Mickey Conn.

Longtime strength and conditioning coach Joey Batson also had his deal, which pays him $625,000 annually, extended through January 2026.

Clemson is coming off an 11-3 season that included its seventh ACC championship in eight years and a 31-14 loss to No. 6 Tennessee in the Orange Bowl. The Tigers finished ranked No. 13 in the final USA TODAY coaches poll.

Here are the annual salaries for each Clemson assistant, including new offensive coordinator Garrett Riley, who was hired on Jan. 13:
