Clemson football spring game: Live updates from final scrimmage
CLEMSON — Fans get their first look at Clemson football's 2023-24 team Saturday when the Tigers hold their Orange and White spring game at Memorial Stadium. The public scrimmage is the conclusion of Clemson's 15 spring practices.
Defensive tackles coach Nick Eason will coach the Orange team against running backs coach C.J. Spiller and the White team.
Clemson won't have its full roster available for the spring game, with some returners sitting out spring practice due to injury and some freshmen yet to enroll at the university. But fans will get their first glance at the Tigers' offense under new coordinator Garrett Riley, as well as notable newcomers such as five-star defensive lineman Peter Woods.
After the spring game, Clemson won't hold formal practices until preseason begins in August. The Tigers' 2023-24 season begins Sep. 4 at Duke.
