Clemson softball vs. Louisiana: Live score updates from NCAA regional championship
CLEMSON – Clemson's softball team is feeling good after winning the first two games of its NCAA regional at McWhorter Stadium.
One more and the Tigers will be feeling super.
Valerie Cagle threw a complete-game shutout Saturday against Auburn and hit a double that led to the only run as Clemson (39-15) advanced to the Sunday's regional final against Louisiana (45-11) at noon ET. Clemson, a third-year program, will have two chances beginning noon Sunday to advance to a super regional for the first time.
Louisiana beat Auburn, 4-3, Saturday night to earn a spot in the championship game. The Clemson regional winner will advance to a super regional, which would be at Oklahoma State if the Cowgirls win Sunday. They advanced to the Stillwater rRegional final by beating Nebraska, 7-4.

Cagle's shutout followed a five-inning no-hitter by Millie Thompson against UNC Wilmington in the regional's opening game.
