The Browns announced Tuesday they claimed cornerback Reggie Robinson II off waivers from the Houston Texans and safety Luther Kirk off waivers from the Atlanta Falcons.

The Browns also announced Wednesday they signed cornerback Parnell Motley.

Then Robinson was waived Thursday with a failed physical, according to the NFL transaction wire, but he could return to the Browns, a person familiar with the situation said.

Robinson entered the NFL in 2020, when the Dallas Cowboys drafted him in the fourth round (No. 123 overall) out of Tulsa. He has registered one tackle with a forced fumble in five career games.

Kirk signed with the Cowboys in 2020 as an undrafted rookie free agent from Illinois State. He has spent time with the Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings (2020) and Atlanta Falcons (2021), appearing in one game last season with the Falcons.

Motley entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. He's started one of the five games in which he has appeared (two with the Bucs, two with the Denver Broncos and one with the Detroit Lions). He has compiled eight tackles and a fumble recovery.
