Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital working on "partial phone service outage"

CANTON – Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital is dealing with a "partial phone service outage" and is working to restore service as quickly as possible, the hospital system said Wednesday.

"The hospital remains open for patient care, and patients can still reach their providers online through MyChart," Cleveland Clinic spokesman Joe Milicia said in an email. "We apologize for any inconvenience for patients and families."

The problem began Monday and was the result of an "internal hardware failure," he said.
