Cleveland Guardians announce home opener at Progressive Field is sold out

It will be 29 consecutive home opener sell outs for the Cleveland Guardians.

The team announced Tuesday that the April 7 home opener against the Seattle Mariners, slated for a 4:10 p.m. start, is officially sold out.

The only way to be in person at Progressive Field for the springtime rite of passage is with a standing-room only ticket.

The Guardians make that easier by offering the new Ballpark Pass for $49 per month throughout the season. It guarantees a standing-room only ticket to every game, including on weekends and in demand games.

Standing-room only locations include The Corner bar, left and right field drink rails, the Home Run Porch and Heritage Plaza.
