Tickets for the Guardians' new home opener on April 15 against the San Francisco Giants will go on sale to the public on Friday, March 18 at 10 a.m. ET.
The Guardians were originally supposed to open the season at home on March 31, but the owners' lockout forced a schedule adjustment. The Guardians will now open the season in Kansas City on April 7 and then return to Progressive Field for the first time under their new team name on April 15.

Fans can purchase tickets at cleguardians.com/tickets. The team also announced that every fan who purchases a ticket to the home owner — in addition to those who already did before the schedule change — will receive a complimentary ticket to any April or May home game.
It's a one-for-one offer, meaning a purchase of four tickets to the April 15 home opener will result in four free tickets to one other April or May home game. The bonus tickets will be upper reserved seats.
