Nov. 15—Madaleine Sorkin Talks Climbing at Chautauqua: Madaleine Sorkin is a rock climber living with her wife on an off-grid property near the Black Canyon National Park in Colorado. She is drawn to free climbing long, difficult rock walls from the Rockies to Yosemite, and internationally as far as Kyrgyzstan, Patagonia and Jordan. At this appearance, she'll talk about climbing 5.14 on The Diamond on Longs Peak.
