Climber Rescued After Fall in Juneau Dies From Injuries

A climber rescued by the US Coast Guard (USCG) from the Mendenhall Towers mountain peak in Juneau, Alaska, on June 28 died from his injuries in hospital, USCG said.

Bryson Allen, 23, from Washington, died around 11.30 am on June 28 after he was transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital, according to the Juneau Empire.

His injuries were reportedly caused by a 20 to 30 foot fall onto a ledge along Mendenhall Towers while he was rappelling.
