Clint Black, Steve Miller, Ledisi headline first Fort Worth Art Fair in Sundance Square

The inaugural Fort Worth Art Fair at Sundance Square is offering an eclectic mix of musical acts during the four-day event.

Thursday’s opening night will be headlined by country star Clint Black. R&B and jazz singer Ledisi headlines Friday, Dallas-born rock musician Steve Miller and jazz singer Catherine Russell headline Saturday, and Salsa and Merengue band Laura Latin headlines Sunday’s finale.

The event, established by Sasha and Ed Bass, aims to “spotlight local artists and musicians” as a way “for family and friends to honor their North Texas community and shared culture through art, music and food.”

“Sundance Square is the heart of Fort Worth – a place where all are welcome. The plaza was built to showcase all things local and worthy of nationwide acclaim,” said Sundance Square Management CEO Sasha Bass said. “Fort Worth is a supportive community for local artists, and a destination for art collectors. Supporting local art and music brings vitality to every community. It is integral that we support local and regional talent. Sundance Square is very proud to host an event in their honor.”

The Fort Worth Art Fair will include installations from a range of art galleries, including several that “will showcase the work of unrepresented artists, in an effort to attract greater visibility.”

The Art Fair is free, but is offering daily VIP All Access Passes for purchase. The VIP passes include local culinary tastings, private bars and lounges, and guaranteed plaza access during musical performances.
