Clinton College comes up short in Christian College league national title game

No. 3 Clinton College lost to top-seeded Bethel University 78-72 Saturday in the NCCAA Division I men’s basketball championship final.

The Golden Bears, who play in the National Christian College Athletic Association, finish with a 20-3 record.

It was a tough game for Clinton as it made less than 40% of its shots from the field and shot 25% from beyond the three-point line. However, the Golden Bears kept the game close as Bethel never led by more than six points.
