CLOSURES EXPECTED: Taylorsville conducting utility work this weekend

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — Taylorsville City officials have announced road closures for the upcoming weekend while utility work takes place.

According to the city, there will be lane closures at the Bangerter Highway and 4700 South intersection. The work will begin Friday night, Feb. 16, and last through Monday, Feb. 19.

Officials said crews will be driving piles in the intersection to accommodate upcoming utility relocations.

Here is a list of traffic impacts, provided by the city of Taylorsville:

  • No east-west travel on 4700 South

  • No eastbound 4700 South to northbound Bangerter Highway travel

  • No westbound 4700 South to southbound Bangerter Highway travel

  • Drivers can use 4100 South or 5400 South as alternate routes
