Clothed in Righteousness seeks supplies for its effort

Clothed in Righteousness has asked for the public’s help with supplies for its weekly service of meals to those in need in the Alliance area.

The agency serves hot meals from 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays at 55 E. Main St.

Among the needed items are foam plates; 8 ounce foam cups; three-compartment to go containers; foam clamshell containers; deli containers with lids; plastic spoons, forks and knives; and napkins.

Donated items can be dropped off at Clothed in Righteousness from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays; at Bridgewater Mercantile from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday; or Gednetz-Ruzek & Brown Funeral Home from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Clothed in Righteousness has seen a significant rise in meals served. In July 950 individuals were served. In August 1,136 individuals were served. In August, 1,541 hot meals were handed out.
