NEW ALBANY − The intersection of Clover Valley and Miller roads near the Intel Corporation site just south of Johnstown will be closed to through traffic for three months, likely beginning early next week.

Prime Construction Project Manager Justin Wilkinson made the announcement, stating the closure will allow for reconstruction of the intersection and restoration of the four-way stop. Residents living within the corridor will have access maintained to their properties at all times, Wilkinson said.

The contractor for the project will be Complete General Construction.

Emergency access drives to Haul Road (Harrison Road extension) from the intersection will be removed to facilitate the improvements. Access to the Intel site or any other features along Haul Road can be accessed from the Harrison Road/Jug Street roundabout.

Local, emergency responder and public services access will be maintained at all times to Miller Road and Clover Valley Road. Miller, west of the intersection, and Clover Valley, north of the intersection, should be treated as dead-end streets until further notice.
