Cloverdale Middle School student selected to represent Arkansas at National Legislative Day in D.C.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A student from Cloverdale Middle School has been selected to represent Arkansas at National Legislative Day in Washington, D.C.

Little Rock School District officials announced that eighth grader Morgan Crawford will be heading to Capitol Hill at the end of February to meet with U.S. senators and representatives.

District officials said that Crawford was selected as one of 200 Civil Air Patrol (CAP) cadets. Officials also noted that she is the youngest cadet to have ever been chosen to participate from Arkansas.

Crawford will join other cadets from the state to discuss the Arkansas Wing, CAP Cadet Program and Civil Air Patrol, officials said.

Until then, LRSD officials said that she will continue working on her leadership skills at the CAP Diamond Mine New Cadet Training on Camp Robinson.
