Jun. 27—SUPERIOR — Club Canna opened its doors in Superior's South End neighborhood Friday, June 24.

Located in the former Jack's Fast Food Spur building, 5701 Tower Ave., the new business offers slushies, juices, cold brew coffee, energy drinks and water. Customers age 21 and older can have their drinks infused with Sutherland CBD products at the checkout counter.

Craig Sutherland, whose family owns the business, said they plan to add a soft serve ice cream buffet within the next two weeks.

"I think it's the best hot spot for the summer now," said employee Grace Vicklun. "With slushies and ice cream, I feel like it's going to kick off for sure."

Kelly Gibson stopped by with her children Emmalinn, 5, and Steven, 2, on Friday to pick up slushies before heading across the street to Webster Dream Park. They had just chased the ice cream truck around the block, Gibson said.

"We don't have wheels on this building," Sutherland told her. "You can find us all the time."

In addition to drinks, Club Canna, a satellite of Sutherland CBD, will carry a small selection of CBD products for sale. The business employs five and is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Visit the

Four months after opening in Superior, Soundtronics has expanded into a larger storefront.

The business, which offers sound systems and accessories to trick out vehicles of all types, moved from 1402 Belknap St. to the former Superior Telegram building, 1226 Ogden Ave., on June 7. The business hours and phone number remain unchanged.

Owner Dustin Mishler said the move nearly tripled his showroom space, from 1,200 square feet to 3,500, and allowed him to add a customer waiting area. It also includes an on-site installation bay that can fit up to three cars.

The business currently employs two people. Mishler said they plan to stay put for a while, as he has a three-year lease for the space. Visit the

The former Soundtronics storefront at 1402 Belknap St. has become the new home for KW Call Center Services.

Owner Jeff Koenen said the business, which specializes in marketing research, political calling and fundraising, has been operating in the Twin Ports for seven years. KW Call Center Services started in Duluth and is currently transitioning from its old home at 820 Tower Ave. into 1402 Belknap St.

"Our lease was up and it was a better fit for us," Koenen said, because it's more centrally located and many employees walk or bike to work.

He said the business employs a little over 100 nationwide, including about 30 people locally.
