According to an Amarillo Police Department news release, officials were dispatched to the area of Northeast 10th Avenue and North Fillmore Street at 4:14 a.m. in response to a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers identified the location of the shooting to be an after-hours club at 1003 N. Fillmore St. No victims were at the scene when officers arrived, the release states.

Soon after, five victims arrived at local hospitals. One individual, later identified as 25-year-old Suade Fisher, died from his injuries related to the shooting.
