'Clueless' Actress Stacey Dash Arrested on Domestic Battery Charges in Florida
Actress Stacey Dash, known for her role in the 1995 film Clueless, was arrested by Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies on domestic battery charges in New Port Richey, Florida, on Sunday, September 29, according to the sheriff’s office.
The police report said that Dash and a male victim were involved in a “verbal argument” before Dash “pushed the victim and slapped him in the face.” Dash was arrested and taken to the Land O Lakes detention facility, according to police.
Bodycam footage from the sheriff’s office shows officers detaining Dash and leading her out to the patrol car. In response to a question about her occupation, Dash said “I did a film called Clueless.” She went on to say that she wasn’t currently acting. “I’ve taken a break, I did politics for a while,” Dash said. “I was a Fox News contributor.”
