82-year-old missing man found safe and unharmed

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said they have located an 82-year-old man who was missing on Saturday.

Police said Alexander Allison suffers from a cognitive impairment and was likely lost and confused.

Alexander Allison had last been seen at his home on Tuckaseegee Road in Charlotte.

Allison was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.

Allison is five feet five inches tall, around 135 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes.

Police said Allison walks very slowly and is known to smoke cigarettes.

Anyone with information on Allison’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
