'Coach, you looked stressed.' Urban Meyer reflects on Ohio State's 2018 win vs. Maryland

Urban Meyer knows what Maryland is capable of.

The last time Ohio State football faced the Terrapins the week before facing rival Michigan, Maryland gave the Buckeyes a scare, coming up just short in a 52-51 overtime loss in 2018.

On FOX's "Big Noon Kickoff" Saturday morning, Meyer remembered it as a "track meet."

"They have good enough athletes where if Ohio State comes out flat... if they come out, stumble around a little bit, Maryland's good enough to be in that game," Meyer said. "It might turn into a track meet. I remember a couple of years ago we did that, got caught in a track meet. A track meet in College Park? That's miserable right there."

Ohio State's defense allowed 535 yards of offense in its one-point overtime win against the Terrapins, which FOX showed highlights of Meyer experiencing on the sideline in 2018.

"Why are you always on the ground?" former USC quarterback Matt Leinart asked Meyer, leading to laughs from the former Ohio State coach.

"I got to be honest, man," former USC running back Reggie Bush added. "Coach, you looked stressed."

To that, Meyer was honest.

"There's a reason why I'm here," Meyer said. "Right here."
