It's not Coachella without an onslaught of celebrities jamming out, and there were plenty of sightings during Weekend 1, which runs April 14-16 at the Empire Polo Club.

Here are just some of the celebs who got their funky shoes on in the desert.

Emma Roberts

The "American Horror Story" and "Scream Queens" actress was contemplating whether she liked the desert or dessert more during her time at the festival (there's clearly only one right answer here). She looked chic and cool in a flowy white sundress.

Janelle Monáe

Singer Janelle Monáe loves supporting artists at Coachella. After Doechii's set on Friday, Monáe and the Coachella performer were spotted taking pictures and hanging out around the grounds.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello

Singers Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello sparked romance rumors when they were spotted at Coachella on Friday. Twitter accounts were sharing a video of the pair talking and kissing in the crowd, and others of them dancing and hanging out with friends, which many hope means they're back together. The two, who have the song "Señorita" together, dated for two years before ending their relationship in November 2021.

Justice Smith

The "All the Bright Places" actor looked cool and calm hanging out on a swing at the Heineken House on Friday.

Alessandra Ambrosio

Model Alessandra Ambrosio was feeling groovy on Day 1. She shared photos of herself wearing a '70s-inspired outfit, including a long-sleeve crochet top and flowy pants. And, of course, she flashed a peace sign for the fans.

G-Eazy

Although rapper G-Eazy wasn't one of the artists scheduled to play at Coachella, he was still jamming out to a number of artists in the crowd. He posted clips from Burna Boy and Gorillaz's sets on his Instagram story.

Teyana Taylor

"A Thousand and One" star Teyana Taylor celebrated the start of Coachella with a little bit of liquid courage. She posted a video of herself at the Nylon House Presented by Samsung Galaxy party, where she was wearing a leather orange coat with white details.

Saweetie

Rapper Saweetie looked dressed to impress on the Empire Polo Club grounds on Friday. She donned a Western-style lace-up vest and fringe pants.

Charli D'Amelio

The well-known TikTok personality soaked up the sun and showed fans who she was most looking forward to seeing in the desert thanks to her caption, which referenced "All The Small Things" by Blink-182.

Shaun White

When he's not snowboarding in freezing temperatures, Olympic gold medalist Shaun White is soaking up the sun at Coachella. He was spotted at the CELSIUS party area.

Yara Shahidi

Known best as oldest daughter Zoey on the hit show "Black-ish" and the spinoff "Grown-ish," Shahidi was spotted rocking out in the VIP pit to New Zealand artist BENEE on Friday.

Actress Yara Shahidi, left in white top, was spotted in the VIP area while she attended a performance by BENEE on Friday at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival
