Colombian-American singer ¿Téo?, aka Mateo Arias, delivered a multifaceted set of Bossa-Nova, rap and rock on Friday during the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Perhaps the highlight of the set was a guest appearance by rapper and actor Jaden Smith during the song "Uno Dos," which was a 2017 collaboration between the two artists.

"I remember watching you make music ... and I remember how dedicated you were and still to this day. I'm so proud of you," Smith said to Arias before the pair hugged.

It was the second weekend Smith appeared at the festival and during Arias set. He also showed up during his sister WILLOW's set.

The bilingual singer and rapper packed the Gobi tent Friday and was backed by a full band. His set was performed in three phases of rock, Bossa-Nova and the last portion was what he referred to as "the hard sh*t." Arias said he didn't do a sound check for his Weekend 1 performance and described his Coachella debut as "crazy," adding that the Gobi tent "might be the sexiest tent at Coachella."

Born in Atlanta to Colombian parents, Arias has something in common with Smith — he and his brother Moisés Arias were child actors. ¿Téo? appeared as Jerry in the Disney XD series "Kickin' It" and Moisés was Rico Suave on "Hannah Montana." His self-titled debut album was released in 2018 and was followed by "Sol" in 2021. He also collaborated with WILLOW on the 2021 song "Buzzed."
