Coaches name 2022 YAIAA Class 2A, 3A girls' tennis all-stars

Anya Rosenbach and Carina Roberts won the YAIAA Class 3A and 2A singles tennis titles, respectively.

So it makes sense that league coaches named the New Oxford sophomore and York Catholic junior YAIAA Player of the Year for their classes.

Rosenbach went undefeated in league play, won her second tournament title in as many tries, teamed with Allison Horick to win their second straight YAIAA doubles title and finished second in the District 3 Class 3A tournament, which qualifies her for states. She also led the top-seeded Colonials into the District 3 team final against unbeaten Manheim Township.

Which teams earn the crown? YAIAA championships get underway

Roberts lost two matches in the regular season but blew through the league tournament and finished fourth in districts. The top three qualify for states.
