Coalition seeks meeting with BPD over fatal police shooting

A coalition of African American men is demanding a meeting with police officials to discuss the fatal shooting of a Baltimore activist by an officer. The men believe officers used excessive force Tuesday while trying to stop Tyree Moorehead from stabbing a woman on a street corner in west Baltimore. Police said Moorehead, the creator of "No Shoot Zones" across the city, was holding a knife while assaulting a woman on the ground near the intersection of North Fulton and West Lafayette avenues.
