Coast Guard: More dredging underway in attempt to free Ever Forward

The container ship Ever Forward ... is still stuck in the Chesapeake Bay. The U.S. Coast Guard provided an update Thursday, saying it, the Maryland Department of the Environment and Evergreen Marine Corp. are working to refloat the ship. The USCG says attempts refloat it will resume next week after more dredging to a depth of 43 feet. A 500-yard safety zone, around-the-clock monitoring for potential pollution and stability checks continue.
