Coast Guard Rescues Four From Burning Boat Near Fort Morgan

The US Coast Guard said it rescued four people from a commercial vessel on fire near Fort Morgan, Alabama, on December 14.

The US Coast Guard Heartland said the four passengers abandoned the ship and were picked up by a raft dropped by helicopter after two aircraft were diverted from training flights.

“Bravo Zulu to the aircrews at US Coast Guard Aviation Training Center Mobile, and the boatcrew at Coast Guard Station Dauphin Island!” a post on the Coast Guard Heartland Facebook page said.
