Coast Guard Rescues Four People in Rough Seas Off North Carolina

The US Coast Guard said it rescued four people from a boat caught in heavy seas near the Oregon Inlet in North Carolina on Thursday, September 29.

The Coast Guard said the four people were forced to abandon their vessel due to heavy weather as Hurricane Ian approached the Carolinas.

Footage posted on Saturday shows the Coast Guard responding to the vessel and pulling people from the rough seas.
