Coast Guard: Small plane crashes off Alki Beach, Washington
The plane sank in the water after a smooth landing and then it flipped forward, the Coast Guard said.

Interfax news agency quoted Armenia's Emergency Ministry as saying the body of a third victim had been recovered. Emergencies Minister Armen Pambukhchyan, quoted by Sputnik Armenia news agency, said the fire had been extinguished, but strong winds still posed a threat.

The blaze started just before 9 a.m. in the Abu Sifin church in the city of Giza where about up to 1,000 people had gathered. The fire blocked an entrance to the church, causing the stampede, the two sources said, adding that most of those killed were children. Electrical fires are not rare in Egypt.
Seven people were killed by a torrent of water that came rushing down a river in a popular recreational spot following mountain rains in southwestern China, authorities said Sunday. The blaze broke out at a Coptic Christian church in the city of Giza causing a stampede.
Several trapped congregants jumped from upper floors of the Martyr Abu Sefein church to try to escape the intense flames, witnesses said. “Suffocation, suffocation, all of them dead,” said a distraught witness, who only gave a partial name, Abu Bishoy. The cause of the blaze at the church in the working-class neighborhood of Imbaba was not immediately known.
