Coast pharmacy goes viral after post about sex toys. ‘Add a little spice to your life.’
A Mississippi Coast pharmacy known for selling a popular New Orleans king cake during the Mardi Gras season is also offering customers something new in preparation for Valentine’s Day — sex toys.
Waveland Pharmacy, a family-owned business that has served Hancock County for years, now sells a small variety of toys just in time for the most romantic holiday of the year.
“Come and get your special someone today! Or just something to add a little spice in your life!!!” the pharmacy posted on Facebook Friday, with a photo of four toy options and lubricant.
The post has garnered dozens of comments and social media shares over the weekend, most supporting the pharmacy for selling the toys or joking about the photo.
“This and a Dong Phoung king cake and you’re all set!” one commenter said.
Many in the comments asked if Dong Phuong king cakes were still available for purchase, as Waveland Pharmacy is one of the only places on the Coast where you can find them. The New Orleans king cakes come on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and are for sale on a first come, first served basis.
The pharmacy, which on their Facebook says they offer free prescription delivery across the Coast and into Picayune, also has at-home COVID testing kits available for $25.
Waveland Pharmacy is open Tuesday - Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
