Jul. 15—The Cobb County Sheriff's Office is hosting a career fair from July 23-24 at 9 a.m. at the Cobb County Safety Village, 1220 Al Bishop Drive in Marietta.

Those interested should attend the event to possibly expedite their hiring process by several weeks.

On July 23, applicants will learn about the Cobb County Sheriff's Office and meet deputies from each of our divisions. They will complete the physical agility test and a recruiter will go over their application.

On July 24, returning applicants will complete the background questionnaire and participate in a new hire interview with a recruiter.

If an applicant successfully completes the weekend, a recruiter will schedule them for a polygraph, psychological test and medical physical.
