Personally, I'm of the camp that we should keep classics classic, but Coca-Cola does not give a damn about my opinion, so they just keep on releasing weird variants of their iconic cola. This time, we've got an apple flavor.

According to snack news source @JunkFoodOnTheGo, the fruity new flavor has made its official debut in Asia (in Hong Kong and Japan, to be exact). And while I might not be dying to try it myself, everyone else apparently is. They're reportedly "super difficult to track down" and already sold out all over.

"The Apple coke is quite light but the flavor is amazing. It tastes like a bit of apple juice is mixed in with the classic Coca-Cola formula," the caption reads. "The flavor is not artificial at all which is great."

Though the fruity new flavor hasn't made it over to the U.S. yet, that doesn't mean it won't. And judging by the initial craze (both internationally and across Instagram) I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see it make the jump.

Fans are already clamoring for a U.S. debut. "Why does all other countries but America get the good stuff 😭😭," one user wrote. "Worldwide release in the future❓❓❓," another added. Everyone is here! for! it!

ICYMI, the brand also launched a Make Your Mix contest for participants to create their own soda. The winner will be crowned (and the Cola will be flowing) on November 10.
